A toy subscription? Really? Ok let’s not be judgemental. This isn’t the space for that, remember? I can assure you our reasons will help you reconsider your thoughts. Many of you have probably seen Lovevery as you scroll Instagram and even Facebook. You may have even seen celebrities like Ayesha Curry and Eniko Hart sharing precious photos of their babies playing with Lovevery toy kits. Instagram’s algorithm displayed Lovevery more frequently on my feed when our son was roughly 4 months and I thought to myself, “Hmm… interesting BUT we cannot afford to add any additional bills to our budget while I’m still a stay at home Mom”. I tried to refrain from exploring Lovevery’s website because I just knew I would be tempted and at the time imagined no true benefits.
When our son turned 5 months old I found myself becoming frustrated with searching and spending a lot of money for toys to keep our boy entertained. During one of my searches I noted a picture of a child playing with an interesting looking toy so I clicked the picture and it led to Lovevery. I immediately thought I fell for a trap. But could NOT resist the images on Lovevery’s Instagram page. The toys seemed unique and the children were engaged. Just what I needed to see! So, I found myself on Lovevery’s website exploring their play kits, play gyms, block sets, and MY GOODNESS I was hooked like a fish on bait! It blew me away! The amount we were spending on toys from different stores and online markets was far more EXPENSIVE for LESS in comparison to Lovevery. At that moment I knew I had to convince my husband to add Lovevery to our budget. Plus, my husband was not the one having to endure the stress brought on by toy searches.
In a few months, we will mark one year as subscribers to Lovevery and I can admit it has been worth every penny! Every couple of months Isaiah gets a new play kit filled with durable, unique, and stimulating tools that cater to his needs. Lovevery’s play kits are special because each are vastly different, include other tools besides toys, have guides on utilization, and are curated based on age group from newborn to 2 years of age.
