Quick + Easy To-Make Parfait At Home

Quick + Easy To-Make Parfait At Home

As far back as I can remember, as a little girl, breakfast was always the meal I looked forward to most. My parents did a wonderful job in either cooking a quick and nutritious breakfast spread or having simple to-go breakfast options for my siblings and I to choose from daily. I always found it funny that everyone in our household LOVED breakfast except for my mom who would do most of the morning cooking. Unless, my Daddy could beat her to the kitchen to surprise us with his delicious french toast! Parents! You gotta love them!

Today, nothing has changed! Breakfast is still my favorite meal of the day and I’d like to thank my parents for this because I’ve been able to carry the same habits into my own home. Speaking of, Tony and Isaiah are breakfast lovers too! Our favorite is oatmeal and all three of us have our own way of how we like to eat it. Berries, nuts, milk, you name it and we’ve probably tried topping our oatmeal with it.

While Tony and Isaiah can consume oatmeal for breakfast just about every morning, I have to switch it up. I love a variety of options and that can go as far as being able to make a parfait 3 different ways! And . . . I’m NOT kidding.

After all these years, I found a combo I can practically eat every morning if I could. . . Actually I did for a few months and I just had to share because its super easy and quick to make! Can you guess what it is?

A PARFAIT!

*Note, in this picture I am using the seasonal Apple Crisp flavor*

Heres what I use . . .

:: 1 – 1 1/2 cup of Chobani plain greek yogurt

:: 1 cup of HEB’s fruit and seed granola (located near the bakery)

Thats it! Quick, easy, healthy, and delicious. Need I say more?

How about you, are you a breakfast lover? Do you prefer the same breakfast option most mornings or do you like to switch it up?
